Pantera

Pantera came together in the 80's created by brothers drummer Vinnie Paul and Guitarist Dimebag Darrell the band went threw some line up changes they lost their lead singer and replaced him with the other guitarist and they released an album in 1983, it was not that great it the follow up album was better but still not that great. Then in 1987 is were they once again replaced the lead singer, the first cd that was let out with this singer was insanely better then the two previews ones and much heavier. To me this is were the band finally found their best sound and starting making great music because the following album titled 'Cowboys From Hell' is my personal favourite because it has great heavy songs and some good solo's. A couple of the best tracks on this Cd were 'Cowboys From Hell' and 'Art Of Shredding'. Over the next ten years this band kept making some of the greatest music ever. It was different then most metal music it wasn't heavy but wasn't to soft it was a mix of some country and metal music and it sounded amazing. Then the band parted ways, due to members not being able to work together and in 2003 former lead guitarist Dimebag Derrell was shot at a live concert because of things lead singer said to the press. It sucked that Dimebag died because he was my favourite guitarist ever. He made amazing solo's and did some decent back up vocals. I really wished this band never broke up but the best bands never last unfortunately.

Mudvayne

Mudvayne is a band from Illinois they were formed in the late 1990's its they released an EP in 1998. It has some okay songs and a couple pretty good songs named 'I.D.I.O.T' and 'Poop Loser'. The Ep helped get signed and after being signed they let out their best album ever also the heaviest one. It was titled 'L.D.50', this CD gave the band some popularity won a few awards with it. The best songs on the album was 'Pharmaecopia', 'Death Blooms', 'Cradle' and the most popular song and the song that gave them some popularity was 'Dig'. In the early years the band used to paint their faces and dress up for their music video's and it looked pretty cool but as the years went by they started doing it less which sucked. The next album was just a re-recording of the Ep and a couple added songs, all together it was pretty cool. The next two albums dropped were 'The End Of All Things To Come' then 'Lost And Found' and they were great albums but just not as good as 'L.D. 50', then after 'Lost And Found' they out a terrible album named 'The New Game' it didn't sound heavy and they tried changing their style to much and it just didn't work out. And then the following year they let out a self titled album it wasn't as good as their older and better tracks but it was a lot better then anything that was on 'The New Game'. If they make anymore new stuff I really think they should try and go back to their stuff from 'L.D. 50'.
